A residency where experimental sculpturework and playful drawingproject was on the menu.
As a means to discover the old schoolhouse that hosts Björkö konstnod, where I was working, I went for a treasurehunt to find physical evidence of life and change in the building. A playful drawing project where the task is to trace and embellish the cracks and marks found thus mapping and drawing the story of activities and movements in and around the house. Parallell with that I played in the studio experimenting with materials and forms in for me new ways went for walks, derives and treasurehunts and met with the other artists in residence. All this allowing plenty of time to take notes thinking about structures, grids and cracks. Plenty of new thougths and ideas which is always what happens when given time being in a new environment provided specifically for artistic processes.
